Hi, my name is Nyaboke Nduati and I am fundraising for my daughter, Imani Nduati's medical treatment. Imani is a sweet 13-year-old girl who loved swimming, volleyball, and dancing, before her life was suddenly turned upside down by a Medulloblastoma (brain cancer) diagnosis in December 2024. She underwent two surgeries in Kenya, followed by six weeks of radiotherapy, before moving to the USA for specialized treatment.
Imani is currently on treatment for Medulloblastoma and Cerebellar Mutism Syndrome ( a complication of brain surgery that she developed post surgery). CMS, otherwise known as Posterior Fossa Syndrome (PFS) is a complication of childhood brain surgery that is characterized by loss of speech, muscle weakness, difficulty with coordination and balance, among other symptoms. Thankfully, Imani was able to regain some of her speech after a few weeks. She is still undergoing various therapies to help correct her speech and mobility difficulties.
We trust God for Imani's healing. She is a warrior.
Your support in the fight for this beautiful girl's life will be highly appreciated. Anything, big or small, will make a great difference! Thank you!
