What’s Happening with the Belin Family:

Yolanda’s Journey:

Yolanda was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March 2024. Her originally scheduled surgery was postponed. Thankfully her last MRI showed no growth or movement of the tumor. She and her medical team are closely monitoring her condition, with her next MRI planned for late July or early August.

Warren’s Fight:

While Yolanda was managing her own health challenges last spring, Warren began experiencing severe abdominal pain and other concerning symptoms. Following a series of tests, he was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer in May 2024.

Soon after his diagnosis, Warren underwent an intensive treatment plan, including 10 cycles of chemotherapy and 28 days of chemo-radiation from June through late December 2024. He was scheduled for surgery on February 10, but the procedure was halted due to the discovery that the cancer had metastasized. As a result, his diagnosis was updated to stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

A recent scan in May revealed continued progression of the disease. With the support of their dedicated medical team, the Belin family has been exploring clinical trials and alternative treatments in the ongoing fight against cancer. They are currently awaiting confirmation to begin a clinical trial at Duke University Cancer Center.
