Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my brother, Ken. He has been diagnosed with advanced Stage 4 cancer, and this devastating news has completely changed life for him and his family. His wife, and their son, are doing everything they can to help him face this overwhelming journey, but the reality is incredibly difficult for all of them.

Ken has been healthy his entire adult life and has always worked full-time. He is a devoted husband and loving father who has spent his life providing for his family and showing up for anyone who needed him. But now, due to his diagnosis, he is no longer able to work, and his income has abruptly ended. Because this is considered a non–work-related issue, his insurance will not assist, leaving the family with enormous financial strain at the worst possible time.

As they prepare for the uncertain road ahead, one of the most heartbreaking realities is that regardless of Ken’s treatment, his illness will leave his family with nothing when he passes. His family are doing their best to stay strong, but the emotional and financial burden is more than any family should have to carry alone.

Any funds raised will go directly toward daily living expenses and long-term needs for Ken and his family while he is unable to work. This includes essentials such as housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other costs needed to keep their household stable during this incredibly painful time.
