Help Me Fight Breast Cancer at 28: Raising Funds for a Double Mastectomy & Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m 28 years old. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer something I never imagined facing at this age. 

After going through 21 rounds of chemotherapy, the next step in my treatment is a preventative double mastectomy and reconstruction. 

 While I’m incredibly grateful to have a full-time job and be surrounded by an amazing support system including my friends, family, boss, and boyfriend the financial burden of cancer is still overwhelming. 

Insurance only covers so much, and my medical bills are quickly piling up.

 I'm raising $20,000 to help cover:  $10,000 for the cost of my double mastectomy surgery 

$10,000 for hospital bills, chemo-related expenses, and necessary medications.
