Stand By Nadia Overcoming Stroke Together

Hi, I'm Paige, Nadia's close friend, and I'm doing this on behalf of Nadia as on the 20th of February, Nadia collapsed. She was taken to the ER where she was diagnosed with a stroke. This is not the first time Nadia has been confronted with a life-threatening illness. In 2020, in Australia, in the midst of COVID, Nadia was diagnosed with leukemia and endured months of chemotherapy. She was isolated from her family and friends, which made her battle that much harder. Now at the 5-year mark, just when her future was looking brighter, once again she has suffered a life-threatening condition, a stroke. This time she is in the USA, again separated from her Australian family and friends. Nadia is currently unable to work and so has lost her primary source of income. She needs ongoing care and rehabilitation. This will help to cover months of care.

As you know, the cost of medical care in the USA is very expensive, and this is now further adding to her stress.

Nadia is a fighter, but she needs your help to be able to access multiple services on an ongoing basis for her recovery and future quality of life.
