After a very successful first year of awarding the Soina Lynn Sadler award to Erin Shabazz Larkin for his children's book Farmer Will Allen, we are now in our second year of the Sonia Lynn Sadler Award with great joy!
2018 brings two winners, a new website, and great outreach. Our winners this year are:
Daria Peoples-Riley for her book This is It and Gordon C
James for his illustrations for Crown.
