Help me to get back on my feet...

Hi, my name is Luz Gabriela. I'm 39 years old single mom of a beautiful 4 years old girl.

Early March (2022), I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. This aggressive form of cancer grows quickly and requires immediate treatment. Thanks to Canada's health system, I was able to start my treatment right away.

For now, my treatment is a total of 8 cycles of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and then antiestrogen treatment to prevent my body from reproducing cancer. My cycles of chemotherapy are almost done. I will have surgery by the end of July, most likely a double mastectomy and radiation will be scheduled after. Getting into surgery will significantly affect my ability to work and participate in my daily activities.

Although I remain optimistic and determined to win this battle against cancer. Unfortunately, positivity will not pay the bills. After my surgery, I will have limited income while I focus on my health, getting stronger and better to be here for my little one.

I am asking for any monetary help you can provide to alleviate my financial stress. This will help me pay monthly household expenses, meals, childcare, medications and treatments not covered by the Canadian Health System. No amount is too small, and every donation will truly make a difference for my daughter and me.

Hola mi nombre es Luz Gabriela. Tengo 39 años soy madre soltera de una bella niña de 4 años

A principios de marzo (2022), me diagnosticaron cáncer de mama estadio 3. El tipo de cáncer que tengo es agresivo y puede crecer rápidamente por lo que requiere tratamiento inmediato. Gracias al sistema de salud de Canadá, pude comenzar mi tratamiento de inmediato.

Por ahora, mi tratamiento es un total de 8 ciclos de quimioterapia, cirugía, radiación y luego tratamiento antiestrógeno para evitar que mi cuerpo vuelva a producir el cáncer. Ya estoy terminando mis ciclos de quimioterapia. Mi operación está pautada para finales de julio, será una doble mastectomía y después comenzare con radiación. Pasar por una cirugía afectará significativamente mi capacidad para trabajar y participar en mis actividades diarias.

Aunque sigo siendo optimista y decidida a ganar esta batalla contra el cáncer, desafortunadamente eso no pagará las cuentas. Después de mi cirugía, tendré ingresos limitados mientras me concentro en mi salud, fortaleciéndome y mejorando para estar aquí saludable para mi hija. 

Estoy pidiendo cualquier ayuda monetaria para aliviar mi estrés financiero. Esto me ayudará a pagar los gastos mensuales de renta, comidas, cuidado de mi hija, medicamentos y tratamientos que no cubre el Sistema de Salud de Canadá.

Ninguna cantidad es demasiada pequeña y cada donación realmente marcará una diferencia para mi hija y para mí. Si no puede donar, comparte con tus conocidos. Las oraciones siempre son bienvenidas.
