Small Bike Park = Big Help For Kids

PROGRESS REPORT: Thanks to Bike Terrain campaign here, along with local cash donations, we were able to increase our state grant request by $3708! The campaign continues, with 2 more grant applications due this week. Fortunately, these don't require more matching funds.
And very nice news for our "Skate The Arts" campers in August: They will go on a field trip this year, thanks to $400 donated by Morrisville and Cambridge Rotaries, and the Brewster River Mt Bike Club. This is not tied to our Bike Terrain project, just a very cool coincidence we wanted to share with supporters. More details in Update #4.
It's still a long, uphill climb for the Bike Terrain. But it will happen, especially as people spread the word about this campaign. The first 30 donations helped us over a major hurdle. We hope Facebook will help a lot -- we are in the process of updating our FB page and will keep folks posted -- no pun intended. Thanks for your help, on behalf of Johnson and the rest of Lamoille County.
