SINGLE MOTHER NEEDS HELP PAYING BILLS

I'm a full time stay at home mother. When I do have a babysitter (i.e my sister) I am able to do the odd job here and there but lately the bills have been accumulating and I feel buried under them. When one clears there's always more. I just received a letter informing me that my power will be cut off in the next 6 working days. My daughter's father isn't willing to provide any kind of support. 
I feel so embarrassed to be  doing this as I have always seen myself as a self-sufficient woman. This is a last resort. PLEASE HELP!
