Dear Friends and Family,
I am starting this fundraiser for my son's Kindergarten teacher. Many of you may know, my city was recently devastated by a tornado. Countless families have been impacted, many have been left without a home. School was canceled due to the severe damage resulting in hundreds of children and teachers being displaced. Fortunately, my son's school was not damaged
(that I know of), however his teacher has suffered a tragedy. Her mother-in-laws home was completely destroyed. My heart ached as I read her email explaining why she would be out the remainder of the week.
She has literally changed my life during the short time my son has been in her class. I know there are thousands of people that have been impacted by this tornado but I can't help but think of the hundreds
of students this teacher has impacted over the course of the last 30+ years she's been teaching.
