Silissa's Coaching Vision

Wow what an incredible journey life has been (and continues to be) for me so far! First let me thank you for taking the time to visit this page to learn more about my new life’s work (don’t worry I am still in the political arena!).

Through the years I have been divinely blessed to work and earn a living in a career that has allowed me to serve the greater good and those without a voice or access– from my various forms of justice work, to campaigns for progressive candidates and the Democratic Party – I have been able to live in joy, purpose and greater meaning. 

Now I want to take impacting people’s lives a few steps further by adding a coaching practice to my existing work for my business 360 Collaborative Solutions. This is one of those things that I always said I wanted to do and now I am doing it!

One of my greatest passions has always and truly is leadership and professional development of others. Seeing the proverbial light bulb pop on for someone is truly a special and joyful experience for me. And I want to further share my gifts and talents in this direct way.

       I have known and worked with Silissa for more than 10 years and    
      she successfully advised me on some of my most important
      decisions. She will make a dynamic and engaging coach for those
      who are compelled to move forward.  

Building upon years of coaching employees, activists, candidates, co-workers, elected officials, friends and others, my vision is to create a community-based coaching practice that collaborates with those in progressive justice fields, professionals, service providers, displaced women and other historically marginalized communities. And of course, those wanting to turn their visions into reality.

I am now asking for your support as I enter the coaching arena. In late October I was able to do my first coaching session with ACE – Academy for Coaching Excellence  - www.AceCoachTraining .com . I choose ACE because of our strong values alignment – that everyone has access to coaching – not just executives and those who can afford it. This dynamic and intense program will take between 18 months and two years and I can’t do it without your support and investment in me.

      years Silissa has provided me with keen insight from many
      perspectives and I know she will be an inspiring and generous 
      coach.

While I can underwrite a good portion, I need your help to get me through the rest of it. My whole program including the master coach component and travel will run approximately $12,000. Thankfully, ACE does a sliding scale fee system based on yearly income so that is a big plus. However, I still need your support and investment to start this community-based practice. My intention with this practice is to institute a sliding scale system similar to ACE’s.

Your generosity at the $25, $50, $100 or $250 will make a critical impact in helping me get to folks who need caring, inclusive, and supportive coaching. As we endure these strange and difficult times in America, we all need to support each other as much as possible beyond ballot boxes and marches.

I will be able to start professionally coaching folks after my next session so as early as mid-December. Yes, it can happen that quickly and with your help, you can help me earn my coaching hours toward my certification and my long-term vision of a community-based practice and help others to do that thing they always wanted to do!

I have come up with a start-up system which for the contribution levels and of course we can get creative based on my skill sets and your needs:

Community Coaching Start-up System: 

·       $10 – invitation to the 360 Collaborative Solutions summer networking happy hour;  
·       $25 – 15-minute call on insight related to: coaching, fundraising, networking or 1 entry to a professional/personal development workshop;
·       $50 – 1-hour session related to: coaching fundraising, networking and 1 entry to a professional/personal development workshop;
·       $100 – 2 – 1-hour sessions related to: coaching, fundraising, networking and 1 entry to a professional/personal development workshop;
·       $150 – 3 – 1-hour sessions related to: coaching, fundraising, networking and 2 entries to a professional development workshop;
·       $200 – 4 – 1-hour coaching sessions related to: coaching, fundraising, connections and 2 entries to a professional development workshop;
·       $250 – Collaborative design!
OR  
·       $500 – Host/Hostess a professional development workshop for young, first-time/new, re-emerging professionals.

          *Should we get past the $4,000 goal I will do a FREE 2-hour
            professional development workshop free of charge for up to 25 
            participants!

Can’t contribute but still want to support, then airport rides are appreciated as are coaching referrals! And please share this with your social media networks – every touch counts!
