It’s really hard for me to write this

I am asking you for your help, support and prayers especially for my daughter Annika’s quick recovery.

Today 10/31 I am sitting in the emergency room of my daughter Annika at the Riverside hospital with her sister Anja. She was in a bad car accident last night. All I know at this time is that her car is totaled and the other driver was a drunk driver. She has fractures on her pelvic bones area and her left knee. The nurse said she was lucky and it could have been worst. She has pain in her left leg. The impact of the accident happened on the driver side and she had a deep open wound on the left side of her face. The plastic surgeon stitched her. She is very swollen and has a black eye. I thank God that she is alive. I just found out from the orthopedic surgeon that Annika will need pelvic surgery in the next couple days and knee surgery as soon as the swelling goes down.

I am hit hard

On 9/14 I was abruptly let go of my job I was working at for 2 1/2 years

On 9/22 I found out my mom Sam Ath died in the hospital from a brain stroke in Cambodia. Because of Covid and restriction we had a funeral service in Paris France in my home town on 10/2.

I flew there with my daughters Anja and Annika to attend the ceremony and offer support to my family there in this difficult time. I am thankful we were able to be there together.

We had to get emergency passport, last minute flights and accommodations. It was good to see both my brothers, cousins, aunts and family.

My dad and sister Helene stayed in Cambodia to finish my mom’s memorial and all preparation and building of her mausoleum.

I never had the chance to say goodbye to my mom in person and tell her how much I love her and miss her. I am still devastated and still dealing with her loss and grief. The last time I saw my mom was in January 2019. We took a cruise in November 2018

I am out of money and all my credit cards are maxed out. As rent is due tomorrow, I urgently need your help paying the basic. I also need help to repay my trip expenses on my credit cards and help paying my mom’s funeral and to finish her mausoleum and have money for Annika’s bills, surgery and hospital expenses. More importantly we need to transfer her back to Orange County as soon as possible and get her proper care there.
