Our son, Dante, is a happy, resilient little boy living with an incredibly rare chromosome deletion called 5q14.3 Deletion Syndrome. This rare chromosome deletion has left him with significant developmental delays and challenges that affect nearly every aspect of his daily life.

Dante is non-verbal, uses a wheelchair, has epilepsy, low muscle tone, involuntary movements, and requires around-the-clock care. Despite everything he faces, he continues to smile, inspire everyone around him, and remind us every day what true strength looks like.

Raising a child with complex medical needs comes with overwhelming financial challenges. While some essential medical care is covered, many therapies, specialized equipment, adaptive devices, travel expenses, and promising treatments are not. Every new opportunity to help Dante reach his fullest potential often comes with a significant cost.
