Shooting Victim in Financial Crisis

It was on the night of my bachelorette party when I received the call stating that my father had been shot. Unfortunetly, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. While saying goodbye to a friend leaving his house, a vehicle appeared only to find that it was two men driving a stolen vehicle who were on an all day crime spree in the City of Aurora. While standing in his driveway, the men got out of the car and opened fire. One bullet grazed his face and the other went through his neck resulting in significant neuromuscular damage and a subluxed shoulder (muscles in the shoulder are unable to support the shoulder bones in the socket properly). After coutless days in the ICU, while in critical condtion, and MarionJoy acute rehabilition center, he now suffers the inability to use his left arm. Although he continues to work diligently with physical and occupational therapy in hopes to regain movement, countless physicians have stated that is it extremely unlikely for him to ever regain the use of his arm again. Prior to this incident, my father worked at a manufacturing plant and worked construction jobs. Unfortunetly, my father is not able to work during this time of recovery and the financial obligations of daily living have not stopped; including mortgage paymets, utility bills, and countless medical bills that have accrued. My father is asking for emergency funding in order to keep my mother and two sibilings out of financial hardship during this time of adjustment and healing.
