Help My Sister Fight Cancer!
Doação protegida
My sister Sherri was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Breast and Liver Cancer.
Sherri is a single, hard working mother of two very active teenage boys. One is a freshman in college and the youngest is a freshman in high school. She is an amazing Mom and strives to provide everything she can for her kids on limited income. Money has always been tight for her but she has always been able to make things work. However, this new, unexpected battle and added expenses is going to make life much more difficult just to pay her regular bills and rent. She does have insurance, but her plan subjects her to high out of pocket costs before it will start picking up the rest.
Her treatment has since changed considering the discovery it has spread into her liver. She started chemo right away. After 8 weeks of chemo things will be re-assessed. Future surgeries are likely as well. She now has the OHSU Cancer Institute of Portland over-seeing her case while getting her chemo treatment in Roseburg.
Donations made will go toward her medical treatment (current and future), as well as help toward living expenses and bills for herself and her son still living at home, due to having to take so much time off work for recovery. Anything would make this difficult and stressful process much easier with her fight.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, and I will try to give updates when I can. Thank you!
