Sheri’s Final Mile on the Tevis Cup Trail

This GoFundMe is about memorializing and celebrating the strength, courage & determination for our friend Sheri Sedam, who lived life to its fullest from the moment she was born until her final fight with cancer on October 18, 2020.
Friends & family of Sheri are banding together to sponsor a mile (5,280 feet) of the trail used in the Western States Trail Ride, popularly called the Tevis Cup . Sheri participated four times in this ride as shown in the picture above on Comet. The Tevis was so symbolic of her determination, her courage, her perseverance, and her grit. Sheri had a dream to sponsor this mile and we hope to fulfill that in her honor. The trail sponsorship is $1 per foot; the goal is to raise $5,280 for an entire mile.
If for some reason the Tevis sponsorship becomes unavailable or funds exceed the amount needed for the Tevis mile, the funds will be donated to the non-profit Lund Home Hospice of the Valley , in Gilbert, Arizona which provided much kindness and care in Sheri’s last days. This gofundme will conclude November 30, 2020.
