Help Corinne Get Life-Saving Surgery for Endometriosis and CRPS
Meet Corinne Zaffos
Corinne Zaffos is a devoted wife, a loving mother of two, and one of the strongest people you will ever meet. For the past 18 years, she’s been fighting through unimaginable pain caused by a catastrophic medical error during the birth of her first child.
What was supposed to be a routine delivery turned into an emergency C-section — one that nearly ended her life. Corinne flatlined on the operating table due to massive blood loss. But that wasn’t the end of it.
During the procedure, a surgical retractor blade damaged a branch of her spinal column — triggering Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), one of the most painful neurological conditions known to medicine. Often referred to as the “suicide disease,” CRPS causes constant, severe, and unrelenting nerve pain.
One of the epidurals administered during surgery was misdirected — and went into her baby, not her. Their son was born with severe developmental delays, eventually diagnosed with autism and apraxia — conditions that reshaped every part of their family’s future.
Eighteen Years of Surviving — Not Living
While managing her own declining health, Corinne poured everything she had into her son’s development and recovery. Through relentless advocacy, therapy, and personalized care, she helped him thrive. Today, he’s preparing to leave for college — a testament to the life she built through nothing but love, sacrifice, and sheer determination.
But the cost of that dedication is showing.
She gave everything. Her time, her body, her health, her peace. And now, it feels like she’s the one left behind — suffering quietly while the world keeps moving. As her son begins his next chapter, Corinne is fighting for the chance to reclaim her own.
The trauma of that initial surgery created a web of scar tissue and internal damage that evolved into deep-stage endometriosis. Despite multiple surgeries, specialized diets, red-light therapy, and years of treatments, her condition has only worsened.
After COVID, everything collapsed. The stress caused her body to break down further, and the pain became constant. She’s now trapped inside a body that continues to fail her.
There Is Still Hope — But We Need Your Help
After years of searching, we’ve found Dr. Tamer Seckin, a world-renowned endometriosis specialist based in New York. He’s the founder of the Endometriosis Foundation of America and has over 30 years of experience treating the most advanced cases.
Unlike previous doctors who could only manage symptoms, Dr. Seckin performs deep excision surgery — removing the disease completely, down to the cellular level. He’s helped thousands of women when others said there was no hope.
He can help Corinne. But the cost is $15,000 out of pocket, and he does not accept insurance.

Corinne and Her Protectors
This is Corinne resting beside her two loyal companions — Anakin, her black German Shepherd and certified service dog, and our family's Search and Rescue dog. They never leave her side. On the hardest days, when the pain is too much to bear, these two lay quietly with her, keeping watch, offering comfort, and reminding us all what unconditional love looks like.
They can’t take her pain away — but they stay through all of it. Just like she’s done for everyone else her entire life.
