Shaving for Palliative Care
To show our appreciation for the outstanding care and attention that my late father, Dan Prendergast (of Boolteens, Keel.), received when he was a patient in the Palliative care unit in UHK Tralee, and to acknowledge the dedication and hard work the staff and all involved give, and the dignity and respect they show to all of their patients and to their families.
For this reason I've decided to shave my beloved beard ( :'( ) and if we can raise even more than the target i'll also shave my head and wax my legs, back and chest, to show my appreciation!!
P.s. Back and chest will need serious donations!!
James the Barber, Killorglin and his staff have kindly agreed to carry out the transformation on Saturday 1st August 2020!
i would be extremely grateful for all Donations and they will go straight to the Palliative Care unit who will greatly appreciate it, as they rely so much on generous donations from the public.
