Shane, Jenna and Hale Christisen

Handsome baby Hale was born to parents Jenna and Shane, and big sister Halle, on July 26th.  Beautiful and perfect in every way,  except his heart.  Hale was born with a transposition of the great arteries (TGA), with a ventricle septal defect (VSD) and an atrial septal defect (ASD).   This all means that Hale was not able to get enough oxygen in his bloodstream to meet his body's needs.  He endured 7 hour open heart surgery at 5 days old, where they discovered he also need an aortic reconstruction.  He will remain at St. Louis Children's Hospital until he is well enough to make the journey home.  Shane and Jenna are staying in a hotel until this time.  
Any funds donated will go directly to Shane and Jenna to offset costs associated with Hale's care.
