I honestly can’t believe I’m having to ask this.

The past months have already been incredibly hard. One of my dogs is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and I've been doing everything I can to manage the ongoing costs and care that comes with that. Then, completely unexpectedly, Shadow suffered a sudden medical emergency.

She was rushed to the emergency vet on the 23 December, where she underwent urgent treatment and diagnostics. Despite every effort, including intensive care, intubation and CPR.. we heartbreakingly lost her. I chose to give her every chance possible and to ensure she was treated with dignity and compassion until the very end.

These costs escalated rapidly, and between ongoing chemo expenses and Shadow's emergency care and cremation, I've completely exhausted my credit card. I don't know what else to do, and asking for help is not something that comes easily to me.

The funds raised will go toward:

- Emergency veterinary care and stabilisation

- Diagnostic testing

- Intensive care, including intubation and CPR

But mostly I'm just hoping to raise the costs for the cremation and final arrangements for Shadow
