In the words of Sevi's momma.........
"Family and friends, Friday evening we admitted Sevi into OU children’s emergency room. Sevi has myocardiopathy. It’s a result from his virus traveling to the heart and causing dilated infection. He is currently in ICU on life support. The team let us know that there is nothing we could have done or the pediatrician could have done differently to expect this since it is not a common concern. With a 50/50 success rate, we must wait and see over the next week if Sevi will fight and his heart will heal. If not, a heart transplant will be the last option.
We share such grief so that you will pray. Pray hard and loud.
We appreciate the overflow of love and support up to now. Thank you and love you all. ❤️"
Our hope is to raise funds in order that Ellie and Devin can focus their time and attention on Sevi and restoring his health and not on the financial toll this could have on their family. This family has endured more than most with the recent loss of Ellie's mom (after a long battle with cancer) and her grandmother. Their faith in God has never waivered and they will continue to place their fate in God and the exceptional care they are receiving from the dedicated doctors and nurses at Children's Hospital.
