This November, I’ll be joining 15 women in Tanzania for the 2025 Serengeti Girls Run—a multi-stage, all-women event where we will run 63 km in just three days across Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti Girls Run is part of Singita and the Grumeti Fund’s Safaris with a Purpose initiative, raising vital funds for girls’ empowerment and equality programs in rural Tanzania—where opportunities for young women can be heartbreakingly limited.
Where will your support go? Every dollar will be directed to the African Community & Conservation Foundation (ACCF), a US-registered 501(c)(3) that fiscally sponsors the Grumeti Fund—the co-sponsor of this event.
How will your gift make a difference?
Your donation will help provide:
- 80 scholarships for local girls, opening doors to education and opportunity
- 18 months of feminine hygiene products for 5,000 girls, so they never have to miss school
- Mentorship and empowerment programs that inspire confidence and leadership
- Life skills training to help young women shape their own futures
The Grumeti Fund works in 21 communities across the western Serengeti, tackling challenges like early marriage, lack of access to education, and limited career opportunities.
