Hello, My name is Cecilia Smith, and I am raising money for my daughter Selena Smith. She is one of the strongest women I know. When she was 16 weeks pregnant, the OB/GYN doctors told my daughter, "Selena, your body cannot handle this pregnancy. We suggest that you terminate it." My daughter told me that she heard the babies heart beat and there was no possible way that she could do that.  My Granddaughter was born 12/8/2016, two months early. She was 3lb 6oz. Since my granddaughter made it into this world, we though that the battle was over. Little did we know that the  battle was just beginning. After my granddaughter was born and she was in the NICU, my daughter, Selena was in the critical care unit because her kidneys failed on her. She has been on dialysis now for almost three years.
