My friend, Derek Brennan, is 29 years old and has been living with ALS (A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function) since 2016. Derek has a beautiful devoted wife Christina, and they have a handsome 9 year old son Aiden.
Derek's condition has deteriorated to the point where he was admitted into Hospice on September 6.
Any donated funds will be used for current medical expenses totaling well over $50,000 and for impending funeral costs. Having funds for medical and funeral costs would give Derek and Christina peace of mind during this most trying time and would allow Christina to concentrate fully on taking care of and making Derek comfortable.
