School Fashion Show Project
Hi everyone,
Parker Hanley created the brand Friday Crap in 2018. She started designing clothes as a little girl, and her passion for art and design grew stronger and stronger every year. In high school she realized she could actually bring her designs to life. She learned how to sew, and shortly after her brand Friday Crap was born. Parker and I met each other a year ago. I mentioned to her that I was interested in event production/intended to pursue a career in event production and that I believed in her clothing brand. It wasn’t too long until our visions aligned, and we couldn’t stop bouncing ideas off each other knowing that together we could create something amazing. I am graduating from CU Boulder this May, and for my final thesis project I am collaborating with Parker to produce a multi faceted fashion show event in Boulder, Colorado. We have just begun working on this exciting semester-long project together, and we can’t wait to realize our vision. As college students, we don’t have many economic resources. We are asking for donations to make this event happen. We want to bring the community of Boulder together to celebrate music, fashion, and young passionate artists with creative dreams. Donations proceeds will go to funding the venue, materials, artists, lighting, and sound and video installations.
To get an inside peak on the designer and the brand herself attached is a 5 minute documentary film!
