Schmidt Blessings

Dear Family and Friends,

As I’ve been trying to come up with the words to say to open this letter, they keep failing me. As many of you know our dear friend and owner of Creative Ministry Solutions, KJ Schmidt, made a trip to Heaven last night and decided to stay.

Our hearts break for his wife Kristen, his parents Keith and Susan, his sister Kristi, his nieces, and the rest of his family. I’ve seen first hand how close this family is and I know how much they need our prayers during this time. I’m asking everyone to pause reading this and take a moment to ask God to comfort their hearts.

While preparing for our upcoming virtual prayer meeting for the Schmidt family we decided to set up this Go Fund Me account to bless them with funds to use however they see fit. 100% of the donations will be going to the Schmidt family.

KJ’s passing is something we are all processing in many different ways, we can rest assured that when his spirit’s eyes were opened and his guardian angel stood before him and said “Let’s go, KJ, It’s time to go home”, KJ took his hand and they made the most exciting journey of KJ’s lifetime. I can’t help but smile when I think of KJ being reunited with some of our dear friends that have already made that same trip. And my oh my, when he stood before Jesus I’m sure all he could do was rejoice and worship Him. But I can only imagine what it must have been like for KJ to be escorted by Christ into the throne room, up the steps of the Father’s throne, and hear Christ say “Father, I’ve brought another one of your children home!” Then the Father leaned over, His hair like living wool, his eyes burning like fire with a passion for KJ, looks him in the eyes and says “well done, my child, well done”!

I’m so, so happy for KJ. He is living his best life now. He is now entering into his eternal destiny and calling and using his gifts in a whole new way. I don’t believe we will ever stop using the gifts God has given us.

His passing has shaken our world, but I believe that KJ would want us to say “We Will Not be Shaken!” I’m challenging everyone reading this to take a moment and make that declaration. Stand on the promise of peace that passes all understanding. Ask God to comfort your heart and go hug your loved ones.

On a personal note to KJ’s family, you have my prayers and support. You all have a special place in my heart and I’m so thankful to know all of you. Thank you for sharing KJ with us while he was here. I will miss him deeply and I will always be grateful for him and his legacy. I will do my best to honor him in my career just as I have tried to honor Dale. I love you all! May the Father sing over you all with His songs!
