Scattered Malignant Tumor in Abdomen Surgery

Hi,

My name is John Paul Jimenez, Filipino, 36 yrs old, Single and working as an overseas foreign working in Malaysia for the past 6 years (2013 - 2018). Both my parent past away in my early age (Mother - Pancreatic Cancer / Father - Enlargement of Heart and complications) and both my elder brothers as well (Cardiac arrest and Accident at work).

On Nov 2014, I was diagnosed with AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) and underwent an Open Heart Surgery in Malaysia (Doctors say I have to undergo surgery right away and no time to travel back in Philippines) and they had to replace my aortic valve to a mechanical one.  I was able endure and recover from the surgery and was able to continue to work as I need to pay to all the debts that I had from the hospital, employer and friends that lend and helped to make it happen.

After the surgery, I started to have some problems with my stomach (bloated, always feel full, acid reflux) which I always told my doctors during checkup and they always prescribe me some medication for acid reflux.  

By June 2018, my condition progressively started to get worse as I started to lose some weight from 90KG to 53KG (until this day forward).  I went for checkup and underwent some series of test (Blood test, Ultrasound, CT-Scan, Colonoscopy and Endoscopy) and they only seen some mucin from my stomach which they had it tested for pathology and didn't found any cancer cells from it.

As my condition continously getting worst and started to affect my work, by March 2019, I decided to go back in philippines and seek  some medical attention.  I went for medical checkup at a public general hospital and got admitted, underwent series of tests again (Blood-works, X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT-Scan, Colonoscopy and Endoscopy) and took 6 samples from my stomach and oesophagus for biopsy and luckily came back benign.  But the doctors found lumps and tumor spreading and scattered all over from my stomach and abdominal area which obstructs half of my stomach already (this causes acid reflux, bloating, bulging of my left tummy every time I eat or drink even a little bit and hard to eat, hence the weight loss).  They also found some Barrett from my oesophagus which if not treated right away may become malignant and cancerous. The doctors advice us that the small gap remaining from my tummy will be fully blocked if neglected and untreated overtime.  This causes me not to eat properly (as I can only eat less amount of food and had to vomit every time the acid overflowing from my stomach just to relieve from from bulging, pain and bloating) and hard to sleep.

I went to another hospital as the previous one can't do anything about my case and had kept me coming back for 2 months saying the same thing.  The surgery department told us that this kind of case can only be handled by private and bigger hospital as they do not have the complete and proper facilities for the said procedure as it will be complicated and also given that I had a mechanical valve (Aortic Valve).  They told us eventually that they will study my case and contact us afterwards (which didn't happen until now).



Same procedures and test happened from the other hospital but I haven't got a chance to finish all (series of Blood-works, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and CT-Scan) due to lack of funds as the running bill was 51,000 PHP already.  They wanted to do all over again and asked me to deposit 200,000 PHP before I got admitted and to continue to be treatment and run all the tests needed.  So I decided to get discharged against the decision of the medical, surgical and oncologist doctors as they can see I need medical assistance already and my potassium and sodium are very low and needed to be treated as well(due to weight loss, hard to eat and hard to sleep) which causes me lightheaded, restless, weak and nauseated all the time.

The doctors advised me that I will be needing  and have to prepare big amount of money due to my case and condition which will range at least from 1,000,000 PHP to 1.5M ($20,000 - $30,000 USD) as the lumps and tumor are scattered all over my abdominal area and they have to do and run some biopsy for everything again not only inside the stomach and oesophagus to make sure there isn't malignancy before the do the removal and cleaning of lumps and tumor from my abdominal area and some other treatments.  

The doctors emphasised that it had to be taken care of sooner before it becomes malignant overtime if I will not go for proper treatment and also they are looking my case as Cancer already and they are very keen to find out which causes it.  

I am really worried and anxious already about my current condition and well being as day passes by, I can feel that my condition is getting worst and my body is starting to get weaker considering that I had a mechanical aortic valve to complicate things.

I am writing and creating this campaign seeking for assistance and help to support myself for a massive financial burden that I am facing right now and seek medical attention the sooner possible time.

I will be forever grateful and thankful for all the support and assistance that you may give to me.  I really wanted to fight and to regain my strength, and recover to become healthy and strong once again.
