My name Anastasia, I am the daughter of Galina Baileys and Michael Baileys, and sister to Daniel and David Baileys.

I am reaching out today in hopes of asking for your helping hand in an urgent matter involving international financial fraud.

Beginning December of 2024, our family was thrown into financial and mental hell. Our family's life savings have been completely drained away by an elaborate scheme which fronted itself as a legitimate investment firm.

The broker, who gave us a stolen ID, convinced us wholeheartedly that he was a legitimate investment broker by providing us with an Identity that he passed off as his.

After a month of communicating with this Investment Broker, we noticed that suddenly our stocks crashed. However, the stocks which my family invested in were doing just fine on the google front page.

For two consecutive months, this broker siphoned information and important critical data out of us, which includes our personal IDs and other sensitive information.

In the end, my parents ended up taking out everything from their savings account just to invest in this "legitimate" firm, which totalled to 50k.

Out of desperation, my mother reached out to another company which advertised itself on social media as a law firm that helps recover stolen money.

The "Lawyer" that we contacted worked with "regulators" that estimated the amount of money we would have made from this investment firm to be around ~250k USDT, plus insurance.

To get this money back, we would need to pay fees in order for their "legal department" to be able to release this money. Every time we would pay a fee, another email would follow asking us to pay another fee, every time with its own deadline.

Unbeknownst to us, this was yet again another scandalous company looking to take advantage of the desperate situation, and unfortunately, they did.

For the next three months, my mother communicated with this "lawyer" every morning at 2:30am. This "lawyer", crafted and used the identity of important individuals and companies to further convince us that he was legitimate. As this is an active investigation, I am unable to name the companies and individuals which he stole the identity of. However, this "lawyer" carried his words with professionalism, which was very difficult to spot as fake.

He crafted emails, texts, and scripted phone calls to make it seem legitimate, and unfortunately we did not see through it at the time.

After confronting the lawyer, he threatened legal action and attempted to pressure us into paying any "outstanding" fees.

Once his legal threat and pressure didn't work, he attempted blackmail. To this day, he continues to contact us with these threats.

In the end, my mother and father, took out ~90k in loans (while my sibling ended up taking out 60k in loans to help, not including the vehicle he is financing).

In total, including the initial scandal with the investment firm, our family lost ~200k CAD.

50k from my parents savings account was taken out and lost to the first scandal.

90k in loans from my parents and 60k in loans from Daniel, totalling to roughly ~150k was lost to the second scandal.

My parents ended up taking equity out on the house, and my father took out from his Pension plan in order to pay these "Fees".

The situation ended due to my family not having enough money to continue. We are seeking help in Canada, however we are reaching out for financial help, as we are struggling to stay afloat. We can't afford food, and the thought of paying bills is frightening.

This can happen to anyone, as it's so easy to pass off as legitimate company online. When you reach out for help, unfortunately these people would rather stand on your shoulders and watch you drown.
