Save Willow: Fund Her Medical Care and Recovery

Hi everyone,

Meet our sweet Willow. We rescued her in April from horrible living conditions, alone and afraid of everything. We thought that was the only obstacle that she needed to overcome when we brought her home.

Unfortunately, we were wrong. Two weeks after she was with us, she suffered a seizure which our vet thought was epilepsy. But a blood test resulted in the heart-wrenching news that she was diabetic. She now requires insulin twice a day with numerous glucose checks to monitor her blood sugar. At our vet’s suggestion, we will be bringing her to a specialist to determine if she has an underlying condition which is raising her blood sugar, as well as discussing what they consider a high-risk spay.

The vet bills, medication, and supplies so far have already put a strain on our finances, and we find ourselves falling behind on our regular bills, but we will not give up on her.

This is something that I thought we would never have to do, but we realize to help her we need to reach out to our community. I know times are tough and I completely understand if you are unable to donate. Even if you can share her story, it would be greatly appreciated. Any help would mean the world to us as we fight to save this beautiful little soul.
