Save the Flames! Help Repair the DG Fireplace

Calling all Halloween enthusiasts and Milwaukie residents! The iconic Davis Graveyard Halloween display is in dire need of your help. The centerpiece of our spooky spectacle all year long is the massive outdoor brick fireplace, has seen better days. Time and weather have taken their toll, leaving it crumbling and unsafe to use. *

Why is the Fireplace Important?

The crackling flames in the Davis Graveyard fireplace aren't just for show - they create a truly immersive and atmospheric experience. The warm glow reflects off the tombstones, casting long shadows and adding a touch of realism to the graveyard scene.

What We Need: Unfortunately, repairing a large, aging brick fireplace isn't cheap. We're aiming to raise $3,000 (we have several bids in and we are going with the one that will reuse as many of the exisiting bricks as possible) to cover the costs of materials and professional repairs. This will ensure the fireplace is structurally sound and safe to use for years to come.
