I’m here for my dear friend, who spent the week in the hospital with septic shock, and when I went to visit him, he didn’t wanna let me in his house finally he agreed, and I was taking back felt like I was in a horror house.

His roof is crumbling with holes, the size of cows. The drywall inside is nonexistent and all the walls are full of mold no wonder this poor man ended up in the hospital.

I’m afraid if he continues to be in this home, he will die from the living conditions or the roof will collapse on him him. The trusses are so bad, I’m trying to get him a new roof with trusses and so forth and the interior drywall ripped out and replace so he could have a clean home with a roof and ceiling that is safe again.

He is 70's years old, only on Social Security no wife no kids no family. I need all your help to make this home safe, clean, watertight, and livable.

If there are any contractors, roofers, and building supply companies that can donate materials and sweat to help this poor man, all help is welcome.

Thank you all for your help! I reset the immediate goal for 10k to get him a camper in the short term to put next to the house.

Ultimately the long-term goal is 100K to get new trusses, complete new roof and re-do drywall that is full of mold.

If anybody knows of any charitable organizations that will help and or any grant programs, please send me a message. I have tried the Pace program but it's not available where he lives as well as other avenues.
