Save and Improve Cerro VFW Post 9516

Hi, we are the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9516, named after our own local hometown hero, Charles Castulo Cisneros, who volunteered to fight in Vietnam and sacrificed his life trying to free others from oppression. Our building is one of the only large gathering places for the community to use, and we are desperately trying to find funding in order to repair the floors, the foundation, the walls, roof, bathrooms, kitchen, all these need updating so we can bring the building up to modern code. We could use a new sign, new doors, new windows, new floors, new stage carpet and audio visual equipment, lighting, and storage. Please help us save this unique building, as it is historical, and helps us Veterans and Auxiliary Members promote patriotism in and around our community. This building is for all, we use it for a large variety of private and public functions. If we don't maintain it, it will be lost forever and Cerro won't have any palce to gather.
