Save Allan Scott: A Young Man’s Battle For Life

Hello everyone,

My name is Bobby, and I am Allan’s best friend. Allan’s family and I are in urgent need of financial support to assist with his care.

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Allan Michael Scott, age 31, collapsed due to severe lung issues, asthma and other complications. He has been in a medically induced coma since that day. After 10 days in our local hospital, where the test results have varied greatly—from minimal brain damage to full brain damage—we are relieved to share that he has been approved for transfer to a Level 1 Trauma Hospital. This hospital is one of the best in Texas, but the care flight transfer alone costs $15,000. Throughout his coma, someone has been by Allan’s side every moment, and we firmly believe he has minimal brain damage. He has shown signs of blinking, yawning, adjusting in bed, and moving his legs.

Allan does have insurance, but it unfortunately does not cover the majority of the transfer and care costs. Additionally, the hospital is over 100 miles from his family’s home, so transport will be needed for his family and friends as well.

We are seeking funds for his family’s expenses, his transfer, his medical bills, and most importantly, for the well-being of his young son. These are incredibly challenging times for the Scott family, and we could use any help that you can offer.

Allan is not just anyone. He is a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, and my best friend for over 20 years. This transfer to a new hospital could be the chance to save his life. I never imagined having to worry about my best friend’s life hanging in the balance, and it is devastating. However, this is the reality we are facing.
