"Save a Life" boards helping save a Veterans life!

How's it going! My name is Timothy DeMaio, I am the owner of Berserker Built. I am raising money to get my company off the ground and create an inventory in product with proceeds going towards funding Veterans and First Responders suffering from life altering ailments they recieved on the job.

After 10 years in the Navy and 3 years as an overseas contractor I have been suffering from multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries, PTSD, Traumas and guilt. Years of severe migraines and sharp ringing in my head and ears every single day. I have become an absolute master at masking my emotions and hiding how I have truly felt from my family and friends. I've spent the better part of 3 years in and out of NICoE at Walter Reed and Brain specialists around the country trying to get fixed. Nothing worked, just concoctions of pills and medicine thrown at me left and right. My life was falling apart and my wife wanted nothing more to help me heal. She saw me checked out and was not able to handle the pain any more. She did all the research and made all my appointments for me, supporting me in ways that words can't describe. At this point, I would do anything to get better. After speaking with my good friend and mentor the words "The Mission Within" were spoken. The Mission Within is an organization dedicated to saving and healing Veterans suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Suicidal thoughts, addiction and so much more. The treatment provided by The Mission Within literally saved my life. All my ailments and suffering were relinquished. I am free of the pain and trauma endured of countless deployments and TDY's to over 38 countries seeing the worst of humanity.

Since my treatment, I've been wanting to share my story and further support veterans and first responders who are feeling how I've felt. I put my mind and skills to the test and have decided to create these skateboards to raise money for the organization which will help fund veterans and first responders to receive this life saving treatment.

Why help donate you may ask, what is this treatment and how much does it cost? The treatment is provided by The Mission Within, the cost associated is $4,500 per individual + the veteran/first responder needs to cover airfare to get out there. My goal in selling these boards is to supplement the user with proceeds to help lighten the financial burden.
