We are trying to raise funds because I need a kidney and a pancreas and I live on a fixed income and can not afford to pay for it. I need some help paying for things to help me get on the list, like getting my teeth done so that I don't get infections. I have fought for years to live and things just keep trying to kill me. I have lived through compartment syndrome which has an 85% mortality rate, pneumonia, 2 blood clots, multiple seizures, diabetes and cardiac arrest. I am a fighter. And I will not stop until I win against kidney disease. I am in end-stage renal failure. I get dialysis three times a week for four hours each day. It takes up a lot of my time and a lot of my energy. I would like to live a normal life.
