In the Bailey family, we have this saying, “If you mess with one Bailey, you get to deal with them all.” Why? Because we have power in numbers, pride in our family and a Grandpa who taught us all to love unconditionally and to stick up for each other.
In a turn of unforeseen and unexpected events, our aunt/mother/daughter/friend Sandra Bailey was diagnosed this week with stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer and an intrusive (and rather rude!) baseball-sized tumor that will only allow her to eat a liquid diet from now on. In order to get the nutrition she needs, she needs a high-powered blender that will be able to break up all of her food to the smoothest of smooth.
Finances are tight in their family and Sandra won’t be able to work again. We are asking for donations so that we can buy Sandra a high-powered blender to make getting her nutrition less stressful and she can focus on her family and staying with them as long as possible.
We all feel helpless in the face of such an unexpected and shocking diagnosis because we Baileys like to fix things and make things better. We may not be able to fix or cure the cancer, but this is something to do to help her today. Please consider donating.

Thank you to all of those who have donated! We hit our initial goal of $500 for Sandra's immediate needs!
We have raised the goal because there will be additional medical and burial expenses in the future. These types of expenses are difficult enough to deal with without the financial burden. Thank you for your continued generosity and support.

Just before 6:00AM this morning Sandra passed away in the comfort of the house she grew up in. We thank all of you who have sustained and supported our family during this incredibly difficult and emotional time.
Due to the rapid decline in health we did not get the opportunity to buy Sandra the blender. We will be using these funds and any other donations towards funeral costs.
