Samuel Erickson's Medical Fund

Our dear friend, Soraya Erickson, recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Samuel. As you can see from the medical update below, Soraya and her family have undergone a stressful past few months.

In October, Samuel was born with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and placed under a cooling blanket to prevent any additional brain damage above and beyond what he experienced at birth. He has now been diagnosed with laryngotracheal stenosis (a 50% blockage of his airways).

A neurologist is performing an EEG next week as they believe he may be having seizures. We are praying for answers and the necessary treatment and staying strong for our two kiddos.

We all know how stressful something like this can be...and when you pile on the additional medical bills, it can be overwhelming. To help the family, we have set up a GoFundMe page to help with some of the medical bills and ancillary expenses they are experiencing.
