SAVE THE DRAGON!

El Dragon de la Calderona is a dragón perched on the mountainside near Valencia, Spain. A Landmark sculptural building created by the artist Rhea Marmentini to heal and beautify an old quarry that scared the landscape. She took over 7 years to transform the site into a magnificent land art sculpture and building to be a Center for the Arts, designed to foster creativity, promote environmental consciousness and support artists.

But after it’s creation a huge forest fire ravaged the area causing everyone to flee and was left inhabited and unprotected for years, slowly dying due to weather errosion and vandalism by souvenir seekers. It’s mosaic exterior being slowly picked clean and crumbling.  But this is a lucky year for the dragon with your support!
