Sadaqah for Beloved Luqman & Yasin

ABOUT THE ORGANISER:

My name is Haroon, an associate of Dawat e Islami, a charity and organisation with which our beloved Luqman shared a close bond. I was fortunate enough to meet brother Luqman towards the end of 2016. Since then we travelled together to many countries, studied together, and made many memories which will never leave me . I created this fundraiser after consulting his elder brother, Rizwan and am in touch with him regularly.

 

Asalaamu Alaikum all.

 

"Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return."

 

On the evening of 11th January 2022, we lost our beautiful brothers Luqman Ashraf, 28 & Muhammad Yasin, 24 due to a tragic accident in Birmingham. They were dearly loved, cherished and leave a void in the hearts of many.

 

Having known Luqman over the years, he touched many people's hearts, and was always the first to offer help in any situation when anyone needed help. He was a warm-hearted, caring, and loving individual. His bubbly character, happy face and humour always brightened every gathering. He was a son, brother, uncle and a cousin to many. Everyone who knew Luqman, knew how much of a giving and selfless human being he was. He had a passion to serve the deen by whichever means possible.

 

The money raised will be used to fund many welfare works like building a water well in their name and feeding the poor, to continue their good deeds. My personal wish is to be able to fund and build a mosque on behalf of them, which can cost in the excess of £10K.

Please note, any additional funds will be used on any good cause to benefit them.

Allah willing, I will be trying my best to update this fundraiser with whatever works we are able to set up and do for them.

 

Our Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three; a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who prays for them."

 

May Allah ﷻ grant them the highest ranks in Jannah.

I ask that you keep the family in your prayers as this is a very painful time for them.
