We are heartbroken to share that our friend and colleague, Jose Bonilla, has passed away after being tragically injured in a robbery attempt.

Jose was only 34 years old — a quiet, humble man with a kind heart. He was a devoted father to his little girl, who meant the world to him. He was thoughtful, curious, and always learning and working hard towards his goals for the future. When he found something that sparked his interest, he poured himself into researching it and mastering it.

Jose worked alongside his brother, Jordy as part of the Laurel Employment Law team and quickly became a valued member of our community. His work ethic, kindness, and calm presence made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to work with him.

We are raising funds to help his family cover funeral and memorial expenses, and to support his young daughter as she faces life without him.
