Update on Danielle’s Journey

We wanted to share an update on Danielle’s fight and thank everyone who has continued to support us.

Over the past several months, Danielle has endured two major surgeries, seven months of chemotherapy, and countless doctor’s appointments. It has been an exhausting and life-altering process, but through it all, she has shown remarkable strength.

While there is still another major surgery scheduled for March, we’re grateful to say that she is heading in the right direction. This milestone brings cautious relief and renewed hope.

That said, life has been difficult. Bills continue to pile up, everyday expenses don’t pause, and we are truly living day by day. Your support—whether through donations, sharing this page, or sending encouragement—has made a real difference and continues to help us stay afloat.

Support Danielle in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Danielle’s journey began last summer when she started feeling unwell in July. As her symptoms persisted, she had to stop working and spent months navigating a constant stream of doctor’s appointments, searching for answers.

By New Year’s Eve, Danielle finally received a diagnosis of DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ), a non-invasive form of breast cancer. In January, further genetic testing revealed she carries the BRCA2 gene mutation, significantly increasing her risk of future cancers.

In February, Danielle underwent a bilateral mastectomy, during which invasive carcinoma was discovered in the removed tissue, confirming a more advanced cancer diagnosis. Now, she faces five months of chemotherapy to address the cancer and a hysterectomy to manage a polyp and estrogen-driven cancer cells, further safeguarding her health.

This journey has been grueling emotionally, physically, and financially. Unable to work due to the rigorous demands of her treatment and recovery, Danielle is struggling to manage mounting medical bills and everyday living expenses.
