Refugee Utility Project

Thank you for visiting our account! We are Refugee Utility Project, currently located in Jordan where we are working very hard to assist Syrian refugees with basic needs and amenities.

We are in the process of raising funds for our largest project yet: the distribution of portable solar panels to refugees living inside major camps. Our main goal is to first provide families with children still attending schools located within the camps themselves, this way the children will maintain the ability to study regardless of the situation they have been thrust into. 

-Portable solar panels are extremely important for a number of reasons; most specifically they provide much needed electricity to a population with very limited access.

With our solar panels, the Syrian refugee population would be able to:

-heat and cool their living spaces (this is top priority as the Jordanian desert is a very austere environment; frigid winters and scorching summers).

-Charge portable cell phones (morale booster as this provides an outlet to contact family and friends still cut off due to the conflict).

- illuminate living spaces at night (a major safety concern for multiple reasons).

The funds gained here will be used to directly support this project which is already underway.
