Run for Ashton 2024

We are Aimee and Lucas Simpson, the parents of Ashton Simpson. Ashton passed away tragically from an accident on April 15, 2021. Ashton did not waste a second in his short 11 years on this earth. He was always in motion, full of questions, and living life to the fullest.

We will remember him and honor him through movement of 7.14 miles on his heavenly birthday, July 14, 2024. You can join us by running, walking, or biking 7.14 miles at 5 pm.

The Simpson family would like to raise donations for pdsFUSION as a part of the Run for Ashton event. We will be matching any contributions received by participants up to $2500. Ashton was introduced to the love of running through pdsFUSION Kids Crew. Kids Crew involves 6-8 weeks of training for children, with a curriculum that focuses on running basics, nutrition, and self-esteem. pdsFUSION Kids Crew gave Ashton a way to channel his energy while running and improve his self-esteem.

pdsFUSION is a local 501c(3) non-profit organization. It is a positive fitness community that emphasizes the importance of being better together through service leadership and engagement. pdsFUSION is Fiercely United in Strength, Intention, Opportunities, and New Beginnings.

We want to continue to support pdsFUSION and honor Ashton through movement…because WE CAN!
