Dad’s Bucket list
Donazione protetta
Hello Australia, Can anyone help me raise funds to make my dads
last wishes & dreams come true ? It has been a hard 5 year battle
so far with Melanoma & unfortunately it’s at the point were treatment has stopped & the road has hit a coldersack where we can only turn around & look back on the past & take a trip down memory
lane.
What I would like to do is turn another corner on that road
( bucket list lane ) & see if we can find him some big smiles along it.
okay so why would random people want to help my dad ? Well ,
because he’s an old school down to earth decent man that has
always always helped others , to give you an idea he has never ever had a sick day from work because that’s not what a man does he
says , you can’t have a day off from being a parent either .
I personally am also not one to ask for a handout or for help as I
believe in buy what you can afford not what you want.
I have been trying to sell my car to make the bucket list Come true for him but it has been a year & it’s still for sale , apart from my car I have nothing as I’m on the full time cares payment which basically covers my rent.
and now its come to the Dr saying he has a few Months maybe,
sooner, which was a shock to say the least.
so I guess this a last attempt at trying to make him happy as he
deserves it. I really don’t know what else to do.
I really don’t know how this works but if 5,000 people donated $1 each it would mean the world to me to see him smile enjoying
what he’s always wanted to do for the remaining time I have him
for. Even 5,000 would do something, just so frustrating when you
can’t give back to the person who gave you everything.
it’s the simple things I want him to experience, ride on a jet ski
stay at the park Hyatt Sydney harbour he loves our harbour & city
so much, hire a house boat on the Hawkesbury fish all night long ,
barrier reef tour , catch a snapper & a barramundi . Go on a motorcycle ( might be a hard one ) go to a football game , go away with
his sons for a boys trip we are 43-54 & we’ve never done it .
to see the Swiss alps that’s his biggest dream , now that would be
something else if we could make it happen.
not sure if anyones going to see this but if you have read this & you are in the position to help it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.
