Rochester Rowing Club Erg-A-Thon

Thanks for checking out The Rochester Rowing Club 's GoFundMe page! RRC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of youth through the sport of rowing. 
We are a small, but growing rowing club that has had some big success. Almost every year we send boats to Nationals to compete with teams from all over the country.  The young rowers need your support to raise funds for new equipment so they can keep training, rowing and participating in this challenging sport. This is especially true as we continue to grow.

Since the lakes in Minnesota are frozen, our rowers are practicing by pulling out their ergs (rowing machines) for an ERG-A-THON on March 25th at the Apache Mall.

Please help the Rochester Rowing Club raise much-needed funds for the club by supporting a rower (listed below - just put their name on your donation). Each rower on the team seeks sponsors to raise $250.00 for a team total of $5,000.00. On ERG-A-Thon day each rower will pull a 10K. Please remember that your donation is tax deductible! 

 All funds raised will go towards the purchase of new equilement. Without equipment, our kids can't row. Rowing equipment is extremely expensive. We are raising funds to go toward the purchase of:

       3 set of oars ($500.00 per set)
       1 new quad racing shell (boat - $24,000.00)
       1 new double racing shell (boat - $19,000.00)

Rowing is a lifetime sport that is appropriate and challenging for kids of all body types and athletic abilities. So please pitch in so our kids can keep rowing!!! Thank you!!!!!
