Hello there! I'm Robin, a faculty member and aspiring full-time academic creative, in need of an art studio where I can spread my creative wings and create the art of my dreams showcasing the beauty, dynamism, and complexity of Black women.

Having my own art studio would mean having the space to dream and create without guardrails and further bridge my passions as an educator and watercolorist working to transform the higher education context one creatively-expressive, joy-filled, physically and emotionally well minoritized academic at a time.

This space would also afford me the opportunity to invite other critically-oriented creatives into the space and nurture their art-focused dreams.

Until now, Viola Lou Studio has been a symbolic space, but with your support, it can become a physical space for creatives like me to thrive!

Please help me bring my vision of a Black art studio to life here in Muncie with any support you can offer.
