Four months ago, I had a stroke, and not long after that I experienced respiratory failure tied to underlying health issues, including sleep apnea, COPD, and my weight. What happened turned my world upside down. On top of everything, there was a breakdown in communication with the doctors I needed to see, which made an already serious situation even harder to manage.

Since then, I still have not been able to drive or work, and I am staying with a relative while I try to get through this. Losing that independence has been incredibly hard for me. I am not able to do the things that used to make me happy, and financially I am ruined at the moment.

I am asking for help so I can keep up with the basics while I recover. Donations will go toward my medical bills, living expenses, transportation, and therapy. Every contribution will help ease some of the pressure I am under right now and make it possible for me to focus on getting through this one step at a time.
