Pre-College Summer Program @ Pratt

We have always known that our son Robert was chock-full of creativity.
When we got a mailing for Pratt Institute's pre-college summer program, Robert, was immediately excited about the photography program (analog and digitial!). He worked hard on his application and was accepted!
In his own words: "I want to study photography at Pratt this summer because I have always had a huge interest in photography. This would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about photography and to grow as an artist. My dad majored in photography at RISD, and ever since I was a kid I've loved taking photos with all kinds of cameras, but mostly vintage ones."
Robert enjoys attending Fitch High School in Groton, CT. He has dramatically improved his academic record at school this school year to a B+ average.
Robert has been active in the community. He has volunteered at St. James' Jumble Shoppe, New London Meal Center and Safe Futures. He has always been a good conversationalist and is always eager to engage in a good chat with a friend or stranger.
We are excited that Robert has this opportunity -- not only to learn, but to immerse himself in photography and art while living in Brooklyn for the month of July. But we need help to get him there.
Tuition - $3,839 (includes four college credits)
Student Activities Fee - $395
Transportation Fee - $121.50
On Campus Housing - $1025
Meal Plan - $820
TOTAL COST: $6,200.50
We are committed to Robert's having this experience and have paid the application fee and deposit.
This campaign will help Robert start his college and art career ahead of schedule this summer. It promises to be the experience of a lifetime.
