My name is Michael and 2 months ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. I have avoided this for as long as possible, but based on my research, even with insurance, the cost of chemotherapy is going to run me somewhere between $25k and $50k dollars per year. I've been on unpaid medical leave for almost 2 months and the family members and friends who are able/willing to help me financially have already given what they could. I'm almost out of money and tomorrow I'm scheduled for surgery to install a chemotherapy pump in my chest.
