Car Accident-Abandoned on side of road.

Ashlyn (A Kindergarten Teacher) and her 3-year-old daughter Lily were run off the road (Hwy 101) and she lost control of her car, went airborne, before coming to a stop in a ditch. The driver that cut them off just kept driving away. Mercifully, the Car Seat did its job and little Lily is ok. Ashlyn, on the other hand, did not fare as well. Suffering a severe brain injury, she was admitted to Vidant Medical Center, where she suffered severe seizures, loss of motor skills and severe speech issues, among other issues. After nearly a week she was released home but requires 24-hour assistance for at least a month, if not longer.
She is not able to work at this time, and we’re happy to report the seizures are becoming less frequent, but her life has been turned upside down. The Car was totaled, the Bills are starting to come in, and she is heartbroken that someone left her and her child to fend for themselves without even checking to see if they were alive or dead.

I encouraged her to start a gofundme , if for no other reason, to prove to her that there are way more good people in the world than the one that drove off and left them to fend for themselves. If you are unable to donate, please share, or leave a note of encouragement in the comments.
